Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2022

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

2022 Ontario Sunshine List: Infrastructure Top Earners

Topping the list for the Infrastructure was Deputy Minister Chris Giannekos, who brought home $286,077.59 in 2021.

Following Chris Giannekos was Assistant Deputy Minister, Broadband Strategy Jill Vienneau, with annual earnings of $235,038.43. Chief Administrative Officer and Assistant Deputy Minister, Policy, Research, Agency and Corporate Services Grant Osborn made $192,805.15, Assistant Deputy Minister, Infrastructure Program Design and Delivery Adam Redish made $192,805.15, and Director, Agency Policy and Accountability John Christopher Monahan round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $173,365.64 for the Infrastructure 2022 Sunshine List.
